Miyako Island Digest
The Miyako Islands, 300 kilometers to the southwest of Okinawa Island, are composed of eight islands. The main island-also called Miyako Island-abounds with beautiful corals making it a famous diving spot. Due to its warm climate, the place is also a popular campsite for professional baseball teams and triathlon athletes who go there for endurance training.
