Kudaka
Island-known as the "Island of the gods"-is located 5 kilometers
east of the Chinen Peninsula found on the southern Okinawa Main Island.
The famous Izaiho Festival, a ritual conducted by women whose ages range
from 30 to 41 years old, is held every 12 years in the island. However,
this ancient sacred festival has not been held since1978; and it is not
