Mt. Kuba at Tana

Mt. Kuba at Tana is covered by Kuba Trees, a kind of palm tree, and is designated as a special natural treasure by the Okinawa Prefecture government. The leaves of the Kuba tree are also woven by Iheya craftsmen into hats, which are used in a Ryukyu dance.
