Tachigami Rock

The Tachigami Rock stands on the seashore. According to legend, a man who once climbed up the rock did not know how to go down. He asked the god guarding the rock for help and so was able to get down. From then on, villagers regarded the Tachigami Rock as the rock of the said god and thus a worship object. It is still a symbol of the Yonaguni Island at present.
