Uji-gumui
is a pool of freshwater located at the mouth of the Fukuchi River in Ginoza
Village. Before WWII, ships and boats used the river to bring in goods
to Ginoza. It is said that the surrounding cliff was used as a cemetery
in the past; hence, the stories about people hearing the songs of the
