Iotori Island Digest
Iotori Island is the northernmost uninhabited island in Okinawa, located at 200 kilometers north of the Okinawa Main Island, and 60 kilometers west of Tokunoshima Island. The island is uninhabitable due to its active volcano, and it also has no deep green forest due to sulfur being emitted by the volcano. Visitors to the area are constantly assaulted with the strong fumes of the mineral, but still people go there to study the volcano.
