Sightseeing Spot・
Kori Large
Bridge was opened to traffic on Feb. 8, 2005. It is the longest bridge-1,960
meters-that links major roads in Japan; connecting Kori Island in Nakijin
Village to Yagaji Island in Nago City. Kori Island is a very small island,
with a radius of only 1 kilometer and a total population of 361. Before
the Kori Large Bridge was built, the islanders used a small ferry as a
means of transportation. Now, they can move to and out of the island much
more quickly and conveniently, no longer worrying about the weather and
the time.Kori Large Bridge Related Contents
