Tokashiki Island
Tokashiki Island is the largest island-a 20-km stretch-among those comprising the Kerama Islands. It is the nearest inhabited island from the Okinawa Main Island, with almost 700 people living there. The island consists of three villages: Aharen, Tokashiki and Tokashiku. Tourists often visit the place for whale watching and diving.
