Sightseeing Spot・
The Shihan-kenji
Monument honors the imperial unit consisting of 307 boy-students and teachers
from the Okinawa Normal School who are among the war dead. The boys were
conscripted into the war although they were only between 13 and 19 years
old. The monument is located on the precipitous cliff where they met their
