Kakazu
Hill is 92 meters above sea level. It was the scene of a hard-fought battle
between the US and Japan. The pillbox used by the Imperial Japanese Army
is preserved in the place. The park's observation platform is well known
for providing a spectacular view of Cape Zampa or the Kerama Islands during
fine weather. Also, the Futenma US Military Base can be viewed from the
platform making it a popular destination for students on a peace study
