Sightseeing
Spot・
Cape Manza
(Manza-mo) is located in Onna Village, on the northern part of Okinawa
Main Island. The name, Manza-mo, was taken from King Sho Kei's description
of the cape upon first seeing it in 1726: "It is a place where 10,000
people are able to sit." People are often fascinated when they see
the cape-a coral formation shaped like the nose of an elephant-so it has
become a popular tourist destination. Historically, Cape Manza is remembered
as the place where Nabi Unna, a woman poet, created a poem for King Sho
Kei. Cape Manza Related Contents
