Iha Castle Ruins
The Iha Castle Ruins is located on an 87-meter high hill covering an area 45 meters by 52 meters. The original castle-said to be owned by Chieftain Iha, a descendant of a Nakijin Lord-had one enclosure surrounded by stonewalls. Many earthenwares from the 13th to the 15th century have been excavated from the castle's ruins making the place historically and culturally important. The area also allows a good view of Kin Bay and the Ishikawa area of Uruma City.
